Along with teaching Assignment was also assiged the management of the college hostels. In June 1977, was appointed as Education officer in the Ministry of Education Islamabad. Worked on the UNESCO Seat. In September 1977, rejoined Edwards College and took up my old assignments. In june 1979, Joined Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad as Assistant Registrar and worked there till may December 1980. There after joined Gomal University DIK as Deputy Registrar and stayed there till December 1981. In December 1981, was appointed  as Deputy Provost in the University of Peshawar , taking care of the  student affairs section and the hostel establishment and worked in th e same capacity till 1989. Appointed as provost University of Peshawar having full control of the entire student affairs section and hostel establishment till December 2000. (was awarded BPS 20 in 1996). Took charge as Registrar of the University of  Peshawar on 4th December, 2000 till 28th June, 2002, (BPS 20). Appointed as Principal Islamia College Peshawar on 29th June, 2002 and worked in the same capacity till 26th May, 2005. Assumed charge as vice Chancellor Gomal University on 27th May, 2005. Besides my administrative assignments I have taught at undergraduate college, such as, Edwards College Peshawar and Islamia College Peshawar. I have also taught a course at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Peshawar, and University of Peshawar for 3 years.   I have been a member of the University Academic Council and the Senate for almost 2 decades. In my capacity as principal of Islamia College, I was an ex-officio member of the University Syndicate. For almost 15 years I had been in-charge of the University of Peshawar, Baragalli Campus and have had the opportunity of organizing dozens of seminars, workshops and conferences at the Baragali Campus.
