As per SAARC Forum’s decision, SAARC Inter-University Debates are to be organized. Pakistan will hold the First SARRC Debate Contest for which Higher Education Commission, Islamabad (HEC) has been entrusted with the task to organize the Debate Contest.

Two topics have been finalized for the Debate Contest which are as under:

1.      Role Of SAARC in Promoting Peace and Harmony in the Region

2.      SAARC Response to Alleviate Poverty in the Region.

Nominations have been asked from the Member States. As soon as the nominations from all Member States are received, the dates for the holding of the Debate Contest will be circulated to all the Member States.
