SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UNDERGRADUATES

Ministry of Higher Education, Sri Lanka has offered undergraduate scholarships for foreign students from the South Asian Countries tenable in Sri Lankan Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), Sri Lanka.

FIELDS OF STUDY/PROGRAMS:

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (Hons) (4 Years)
• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (3 Years)

ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA:

• Minimum 75% or above marks in SSC and HSSC (Pre Engineering) or Equivalent.
• Candidate passed their Examinations in Supplementary Examinations OR Improvers are not eligible.
• Medium of study in FSc/Diploma should be English

Scholarship Cover:

Only tuition fee is waived off, all other expenses are to be beared by the candidate/applicant himself.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

1. Download and Fill HEC Application Form ( Click Here to Download), don’t attach documents with HEC Form.
2. Click here to Download MOHE-SLIIT Application Form, Properly Fill the Form and attached following documents with it.
• Copy of NIC
• Attested Copies of SSC Pass Certificate and Transcripts
• Attested Copies of HSSC-Pre Engineering only (or Equivalent) Pass Certificate and Transcripts
• English Proficiency Certificate with IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 525  OR  An English Proficiency Certificate from Last attended Institute with the endorsement that the student has studied in English Medium and he is very proficient in English).
• Health Certificate from Government Hospital only.
• 2 x Passport Size Photographs
