Mr. Ansar Yasin S/O Mr. Muhammad Yasin.  

Defaulter of Government of Pakistan 

Mr. Ansar Yasin, holder of National Identity Card Number 81302-1705417-9, son of Mr. Muhammed Yasin is a permanent resident of House No.32-B Sector C-1 Mirpur, AJK, Pakistan. Mr. Ansar Yasin passed his SSC from Govt. High School No. 2, Mirpur, AJK in 1992 and his HSC from Govt. College Mirpur, AJK in 1994. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from University College of Engineering and Technology, Mirpur, AJK in 2001 respectively.

Mr. Ansar while working as a Lecturer in the Department of Electronics at the then University College of Engineering and Technology, Mirpur Campus, AJK was selected for the scheme titled ‘MS / M.Phil. leading to PhD Scholarships for teachers of Weaker Universities’ and had proceeded to Austria on 3rd September 2006.

Mr. Yasin was expected to complete his Masters from Technical Univ. of Vienna in September 2009 while he had also started pursuing his PhD thereon as conveyed by him.  He had been repeatedly asked since July 2011 to update the Project Director (PD) about his progress but he had failed to do so. He is well aware that as per his legal Bond signed with HEC; he was expected to update HEC with his progress.

The undersigned had constantly been sending him reminders but he has not responded so far. On 26.10.2011, the PD sent a letter to the MoFA and Pakistan Embassy in Austria requesting them to help HEC repatriate the scholar. On 31.10.11, the PD requested the University of AJK, Muzaffarabad to take action against him as per their rules.

Unfortunately, Mr. Ansar Yasin has failed to respond to the repeated letters that have been sent to him by HEC to return to Pakistan and join his duties. As per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of HEC, a legal notice is also being sent to the incumbent.

 

Mr. Ansar Yasin is hereby declared as a defaulter of the Higher Education Commission, Government of Pakistan and is liable to pay the entire amount of money spent on him along with a 25% penalty for his overstay in Austria.
