Result of HEC Schoarship for MS Engneering

Applications are invited from Full time Regular Teachers of Public sector Universities/ Degree awarding Institutes for Master degree program in Engineering in European Countries so as to reach the undersigned on or before February 06, 2006.

• Pakistani / AJK Nationals
  
• Full time regular Teachers of Public Sector Universities/ Institutes.
  
• First division or 2.5 CGPA out of 4 in B.E or equivalent degree
  
• Maximum one second division in academic career,
  
• No third division or grade D in academic career.
  
• Maximum 40 years by age on  February 06, 2006 

• Advance copy of Application duly supported by attested copies of Academic documents including transcripts, 4 copies of passport size Photographs and original bank draft / Postal order for Rs. 500 in favour of D.G (Finance), HEC will be accepted provisionally. This must be followed by the original applications duly recommended by the Registrar / Employer; failing which the interview call shall not be issued.
  
• Medium of instructions is English in Sweden & Netherlands and French in France and German in Austria & Germany. Language course will be offered to the selected candidates on state expense.

• Eligible candidates have to clear local GRE General type test at the requisite score
• Short listed candidates will be interviewed by a joint HEC and respective country selection team for award of scholarship
• Selected candidates will have to execute Deed of Agreement; furnish Guarantee to the Higher Education Commission; Certification of the Financial Soundness of Surety/Guarantor and a Surety Bond before joining the programme. Specimen is available on HEC website.
• Scholarship Awardees under other schemes of the Higher Education Commission need not apply
• Equivalence of the foreign qualification/s from IBCC / HEC be provided with the application form.
• A Bank draft / Postal order for Rs.500/- in favor of D.G (Finance), HEC, is a non refundable processing fee ( Photocopy of the Draft / Postal order will not be accepted)

General Instructions

Advance copy of Application duly supported by attested copies of Academic documents including transcripts, 4 copies of passport size Photographs, NTS result card (if applicable) and original bank draft or Postal order, will be accepted provisionally. This must be followed by the Forwarded Copy; failing which the interview call shall not be issued. Short listed candidates will be interviewed by a HEC and relevant country selection team for award of scholarship Selected candidates will have to execute Deed of Agreement; furnish Guarantee to the Higher Education Commission; Certification of the Financial Soundness of Surety/Guarantor and a Surety Bond before joining the programme. Specimen is available on HEC website. Scholarship will cover living allowance, tuition fee, Study & Research allowance and one time return air fare. Thirty Six (36) scholarships are available  Short listed candidates will have to provide NOC, CV and letter of motivation before interview. Scholarship Awardees under other schemes of the Higher Education Commission need not apply. Equivalence of the foreign qualification/s from IBCC / HEC be provided with the application form. Important Note:

The candidates who appeared in the NTS test on January 1, 2006 and qualify the test at 50% or more marks will attach copy of NTS result card and enclose original bank draft / Postal order for Rs. 200 in favor of D.G (Finance, HEC) as application processing fee with this application. Those candidates, who appeared in the NTS test on January 1, 2006 and qualify the test at 50% or more marks, and are intending to apply simultaneously in the following scholarships schemes of HEC have to fill separate application form of each scheme and enclose copy of bank draft / Postal order for Rs. 200 in favor of D.G (Finance, HEC) separately. HEC Overseas Scholarships for Masters / PhD at AIT, Bangkok link MS Level Training in Korean Universities / Industry  link The candidates, who did not appear in the NTS Test on January 1, 2006 and desire to apply, must enclose a bank draft / Postal order for Rs. 500 in favor of D.G (Finance, HEC) as application processing fee with this application The candidates, who did not appear in the NTS Test on January 1, 2006 and are intending to apply simultaneously in the following scholarships schemes of HEC have to fill separate application form of each following scheme and enclose copy of bank draft / Postal order for Rs. 200 in favor of D.G (Finance, HEC) separately.
