ZAbsconder and Defaulter of Government of Pakistan
Dr. Muhammad Tausif Chaudhry, National Identity Card Number 35202-7654184-7, son of Mr. Rashid Chaudhry is a permanent resident of 10-D, WAPDA Scarp Colony, Jaranwala Road, Post Office Makuanna, Faisalabad, Pakistan. Mr. Zeeshan passed his SSC from BISE, Faisalabad in 1993 and his FSC also from BISE, Faisalabad in 1995. He completed his Bachelor of Science from University of Punjab, Lahore in 1997 and his M.Sc. in Chemistry from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad while his M. Phil in Biotechnology from QAU, Islamabad in 2003 respectively.
Dr. Muhammed Tauseef Chaudhry while working as ‘Scientific Officer’ at Environmental Analytical Laboratory (PCSIR), Islamabad was selected for ‘PhD Scholarship for Basic Sciences China’ and had proceeded to China on 4th of July, 2004. After completion of PhD studies he returned to Pakistan on February, 2008, and joined his parent Department/organization.
Dr. Anwar Saeed Ahmed, Secretary PCSIR wrote a letter to HEC on 26th of March, 2010, regarding unauthorized absence of Dr. Muhammad Tauseef Chaudhry from duty. He claimed that he has not been attending his office since 01-12-2009 without any prior information; and it has been learnt that he has gone to USA without approval or any NOC from PCSIR authorities whereas he was bound to serve Pakistan for 5 years after completion of his PhD studies as per the ‘Terms and Conditions’ of the subject scholarship program that he signed with the Government of Pakistan i.e. HEC.
Unfortunately, Dr. Chaudhry has failed to respond to the repeated letters that have been sent to him by HEC to justify his position and apprise HEC about his whereabouts. As per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of HEC, a legal notice has already been sent to the incumbent.
Dr. Muhammad Tausif Chaudhry is hereby declared as a deserter by his employer and defaulter of the Higher Education Commission, Government of Pakistan and is liable to pay the entire amount of money spent on him during his PhD in China.
