  HEC-USAID scholarship has helped me in fulfilling my dream of graduating from one of the best Business school in Pakistan.  Being a sole bread winner of my family, it was difficult for me to leave my job and pursue my Masters education.  On top of it, studying in LUMS meant relocating to a different city.  Through HEC-USAID scholarship, I was able to overcome all these financial difficulties and graduated with distinction from my alma mater.

LUMS equips with you with a degree that is recognized globally. Due to my education credentials, I was hired to work for multinational energy giant, Chevron Corp. I take immense pride in the fact that I got enrolled in Chevron International Gateways Program, one of the first two individuals from Pakistan to be selected in that program.

Having benefited from this wonderful scholarship, we now have a greater responsibility in giving back to our society. Though impact may be on a very small micro level, but I try my utmost to contribute towards betterment of my fellow beings by sharing knowledge, experience and the monetary benefits that I have gained during this course of my education and working”.
