| Introduction |
The main objective of this programme is to disseminate our academic and research experiences/ achievements at national as well as international level alongwith giving exposure of international community to our teachers and researchers working in their respective fields.
Under this programme, financial assistance is extended to public sector universities for conducting/ hosting seminars/ conferences/ symposiums/ workshops etc. University faculty is encouraged to organize such events, which not only create healthy competitive atmosphere in academic/ research institutes but also provide guidance to industry and commerce regarding resolution of their certain problems. |

· To assess academic and research capabilities / achievements taking into consideration national requirements and international scenario.
· To consolidate / share academic and research experiences/ achievements at national as well as international level.
· To provide an opportunity of exposure to our teachers and researchers with international community.
· To disseminate academic and research achievements to our industrial and commercial establishments. |

Conferences Grants
Grants for Organizing Seminars, Conferences, Symposiums, Workshops
Applications complete in all respects and supported with the documnets as provided in the check lists, forwarded by the respective Vice Chancellor/Rector or Director (in case of Centers) should reach 6 weeks before the proposed dates of holding of the event .

| Other Related Information |
Maximum assistance of Rs.1.5 million for an international event and Rs.1.00 million for national event will be considered. |
| Terms & Conditions |
Grants are sanctioned and released to the head of institutions i.e. Vice Chancellor/ Rector/ President etc. as the case may be, and the Principal Organizer will be responsible for proper fulfillment of the following conditions:
· Grants are sanctioned to be utilized for the specific event.
· Grants are sanctioned subject to proper acknowledgement of HEC contribution in proceedings of the event and on all printed material of the event.
· The grants will be properly utilized in the light of approved budget and adjusted within two months after the event; with the statement of expenditure duly audited by the University Audit.
· In case of cancellation, postponement, the grant sanctioned/released will have to be refunded immediately. |
