The Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, invites applications from eligible Pakistani faculty members for the Spring 2027 Seoul National University (SNU) President Fellowship (SPF) Scholarship Program, offered by Seoul National University (SNU), Republic of Korea.
The SNU President Fellowship (SPF) is a prestigious doctoral scholarship designed to strengthen academic cooperation and develop the research capacity of faculty members serving at major universities in developing countries, including Pakistan. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support for pursuing doctoral studies at Seoul National University.
SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
Successful applicants will receive:
- Full tuition fee waiver (up to six semesters)
- Monthly living allowance
- Round-trip airfare
- Health insurance coverage
- Korean language training
- Childcare support (where applicable)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must:
- Be Pakistani/AJK nationals.
- Be current faculty members employed at recognized universities in Pakistan.
- Not possess a doctoral degree.
- Meet the admission requirements of Seoul National University for the selected doctoral program.
- Satisfy all eligibility requirements prescribed by Seoul National University.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Applicants are required to complete both of the following during the application period:
- Apply for admission to the Spring 2027 Global Talent Special Admission Graduate Program at Seoul National University.
- Submit a separate application for the SNU President Fellowship (SPF).
Incomplete applications or applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
APPLICATION TIMELINE
Deadline: 06 July 2026 to 09 July 2026
Applicants are advised to prepare all required documents well in advance of the application deadline.
