Under the AJ&KUoB Act 2023, the former Bhimber campus of Mirpur University of Science and Technology upgrade into the Azad Jammu and Kashmir University of Bhimber. This transition was driven by the commitment to address the educational needs of Bhimber and its surrounding areas, fostering a culture of quality higher education, research, and community engagement.
