Higher Education Commission, Regional Center, Karachi erstwhile University Grants Commission (UGC) Regional Center, Karachi was established in 1974. Initially this center was started working at MACHS Karachi and then after completion of building shifted in its present building in the year 1996. The core function of this center is to facilitate Institutions of Higher Learning in the region of Sindh and provides wide range of HEC services to different universities, faculty members, students as well as general public.
