Mr. Muhammad Khalid Farooq Salamat was awarded scholarship on September 14, 2007 from Paris Diderot University,France under the project titled ‘Overseas Scholarship for MS/MPhil Leading to PhD in selected field Phase-II”. He did not return to Pakistan after completion of PhD degree and started Post Doc. He did not fulfill his moral, ethical and legal obligation to serve in Pakistan for a period of 5 years. His scholarship has been cancelled by Competent authority and an amount of Euros € 77,969/- and PKR Rs.1,10,963 /- is to be refunded by him to HEC.
Till date he did not refund any amounts which makes him defaulter of the Govt. of Pakistan.
Legal proceedings have been started regarding recovery through the Court of Law.
