Welcome to the NAHE online teaching and learning section!
A few words about NAHE:
Launched in June 2019, National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) is the academic arm of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC). Its vision is to establish itself as an apex learning institution that will institute and lead a broader national discourse around the purpose, perspectives and policy in Higher Education and help develop high quality human capital to achieve excellence in academic milieu.
NAHE is set to work as a centre of excellence for capacity building, skill development, and promotion of academic and leadership competencies. It will offer generic, as well as need-based capacity building services, and will engage in setting standards, defining and cultivating academic quality, and advancing research on professional resource development.
Introducing the online teaching and learning section:
In keeping with the remit of NAHE, and in view of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are extending support to the higher education sector in moving to online delivery of courses. An important aspect of this support is to share resources that will help us all to take our instruction online, which for many is the start of a new journey and into untested domains of working.
To this end we have generated a list of online resources for teaching and learning. These consist of a variety of resources presented in various formats – webinars, PowerPoint presentations, tutorials as well as short courses to learn about online teaching and learning. The resources identified below have been collated from our international networks, shared by colleagues and institutions.
Please note that this is a living document with an evolving list of resources as new materials come into the public domain.
