Start-Up Research Grant Program Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

Fresh Ph.D. degree holder who has recently joined a public sector or private sector university eligible for public funding (first time after Ph.D.) as IPFP Fellow on Interim Placement of Fresh Ph.D. (IPFP).
A fresh Ph.D. degree holder means a scholar having Ph.D. degree completed within two years from the date of application for SRGP.
A faculty member on IPFP needs to apply for Start-up Research Grant within 01 months of his/her joining .
A faculty member on IPFP who could not submit application for Start-up Research Grant may apply for this upon joining as IPFP Fellows.
Start-up Research Grant will only be provided to a fresh Ph.D. faculty member only once.
A faculty member whose application for SRGP has been rejected due to any reason is not eligible to submit application again.
HEC scholarship defaulters (foreign and indigenous) are not eligible for this grant.
