Eligibility Criteria

​​Principal Investigator (PI) must:

  • Be a  faculty member (PhD or FCPS/MCPS/FRCS) working on regular/ contract basis (contract duration must not be less than project duration) in the Higher Education Institutions (public or private) of Pakistan
  • PI can hold only one NRPU grant at a time
  • PI having significant delays in completion of their previous projects are ineligible (delayed more than two years in addition to actual time-line)
  • Project Team& Research Collaboration:
  1. A consortia of faculty members from multiple university departments and/or multiple universities. For details please click​
  2. ​ Collaboration with industry will be preferred (For Private sector participants; No financial transactions will be made to private collaborators)​.
