International Faculty Mobility
- No minimum or maximum number of faculty members, provided the total funding requested is no more than £80,000.
- Budget per faculty member must not exceed £4000.
- Length of mobility period should not exceed 2 weeks.
- Faculty exchange should be materialized by October 2023.
- Priority will be given to proposals that provide opportunities to individuals from under-represented groups.
- One representative from HEC/British Council will accompany the group. The costs of the accompanying representative will be paid through the grant received by the University.
- The lead applicant university can nominate faculty members from other universities if they are related to the same thematic group and study area. The thematic subject areas include the following:
- Climate Change
- Energy (generation, distribution, and conservation)
- Nanoscience
- Medical and allied health sciences
- Robotics and Artificial Intelligence
- Social Sciences
- Food, Agricultural and Animal Sciences
- Funding will be distributed directly to the UK and Pakistani Universities. There will be one lead from the UK university and another lead from the Pakistani university for each proposal.
- Funding distributed to the Universities is to cover:
- Travel: one economy class return flight, in-country transfers, visa processing costs, vaccinations and travel insurance
- Subsistence
- Accommodation
- Contribution to University administrative costs
- Academic activities
