The programme “Max Planck Pakistan Mobility Grant" (MPPMG) is open to all Max Planck Institutes (MPI) and to all Pakistani research institutions.
Candidates can be nominated by a Director, a Group Leader or a Principal Investigator of a Max Planck Institute. As a first step candidates need to approach a contact person of a suitable MPI.
Former Max Planck Partner Group Heads and former Max Planck Mobility Grant Holders are not eligible to apply for this grant.
Documents to be submitted:
The following documents are to be submitted by the scientists from Pakistan applying for the Max-Planck Pakistan Mobility Grant in agreement and with signature of the nominating Max Planck Researcher.
- Cover page (see below)
- Letter of intent by the hosting Max Planck Researcher that he/she is willing to host the candidate for a minimum of 1 month p.a. for three years
- Curriculum vitae (max. 2 pages)
- Short project description (max. 3 pages)
- Statement by the candidate that he/she is willing to spend minimum 1 month p.a. at the MPI (max. 1 page)
- Letter of intent from the Director of the research institute / university in Pakistan to which the candidate is affiliated supporting the nomination and accepting the conditions as set forth (1 page).
