Foreign Faculty members from technologically advanced countries, preferably from top 200 ranked universities or top 500 universities subject wise can be invited to Pakistan & vice versa for Pakistani Faculty.

The program is open round the year, the applications are accepted and processed on rolling basis. It is advisable to submit the application at least three months before the tentative visit dates. Late and incomplete application will not be entrained.

i. For short visit (minimum 2 weeks), honorarium will be paid at the rate of US$ 100 per Diem. ii. For long visit (4 to 16 weeks) honorarium will be paid at the rate of US$ 2000 - 3000 per month depending upon credentials of the faculty.

One round trip economy class airfare from origin to destination and back, as per actual and maximum of Rs.180, 000.

Host Institutions shall pay the honorarium and air fare expenses (as of actual) to the foreign faculty before his/her departure and HEC will reimburse.
