The Faculty Exchange Program is designed to enhance teaching and research collaboration of Pakistani institutions and faculty with partner institutions around the world. The program allows Pakistani faculty to go abroad and foreign faculty from technological advanced countries to visit Pakistan.
The program is open to all disciplines and is accessible to HEC recognized public sector universities/degree awarding institutions. Emphasis will be placed on purposeful exchange with defined activities and tangible outcomes. Institutional arrangement with international organizations such as USEFP, DAAD, British Council and others will be encouraged.
Pre-visit Agreement
Before initiating any exchange program the research areas for collaboration and the visit activities will be identified. A generic agreement will be signed between the institutions which will cover the purpose of visit and its proposed tangible outcomes.
The program is open to the following:
HEC recognized public sector universities/degree awarding institutions can invite foreign faculty and send their faculty abroad. Preferably this faculty exchange may take place with the members from those institutions/HEIs with whom HEC already signed agreements and placed Pakistani students for PhD studies.
Foreign faculty members from technologically advanced countries, preferably from top 200 ranked universities or top 500 universities subject wise can be invited.
