The National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), a constituent entity of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, is mandated to enhance the professional competence and institutional effectiveness of HEC employees through structured professional development and capacity-building initiatives. These programs are designed to strengthen individual skills, improve organizational performance, and support HEC's strategic mission of fostering excellence, transparency, and efficiency in the higher education sector.
Background
With the expansion of HEC's role in regulation, quality assurance, development planning, and coordination of higher education institutions, the need for a skilled, responsive, and professionally trained workforce has become increasingly critical. To address this need, NAHE initiated targeted professional development programs specifically for HEC employees. These initiatives aim to equip staff with contemporary knowledge, administrative skills, and professional attitudes required to meet evolving organizational and sectoral challenges.
Objectives
