NAHE Overview


Welcome to the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE)

The National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), which was developed as the Learning Innovation Division (LID), is now officially designated as NAHE by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. NAHE serves as the national hub for capacity building and continuous professional development for faculty and management within higher education institutions across the country.

Our Mission

NAHE is dedicated to enhancing the quality of higher education by equipping educators and administrators with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to excel in a dynamic academic environment. We aim to:

  • Foster a Collaborative Learning Environment: NAHE provides a space where faculty, staff, and participants can collaboratively develop, critically examine, and share knowledge that shapes the discipline of education.
  • Promote Inclusivity: We attract individuals from diverse social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds, with particular attention to underserved communities in higher education.
  • Develop Competent Educators: Our programs prepare caring and competent educators and educational administrators who balance content knowledge with an understanding of the students and communities they serve.
  • Cultivate Global Leaders: We aim to create a community of scholars who contribute to research, educational leadership, and policy-making in higher education.
