What is eligibility criteria to apply for Benazir Undergraduate Scholarship Project?

Newly admitted students ( Spring 2020 and Fall 2020) sessions
Admissions secured on merit only. Merit means that the student has fulfilled the admission criteria of the institution in which he/she intends to study
Degree programs allowed by the HEC.
Age limit set by institution’s regulations, i.e., the maximum age of the eligibility for the scholarship is the same as the maximum age for applying for admission in undergraduate programs at the HEI.

What are the required documents that is to be submitted to financial aid department?

Supporting Documents to be submitted to FAO along with EHSAAS Undergraduate Scholarship Project Application Form:

Copy of applicant CNIC / B. Form
Copy of CNIC (Father, Mother/ Guardian)
Salary Slip / Income Certificate (Father/Guardian, Mother)
Copy of Latest Month (containing history of Last Six Months Bills) Utility Bills (Electricity, Gas, Telephone, Water) – (If facility available)
Copy of Rent agreement in case of Rented House
Copies of Last Fee Receipts of Applicant and Siblings (If applicable)
Copies of Medical bills/ expenditure related documents (if applicable)
01 Passport size Photograph of Applicant.
Pictures of House (Outside Front)

If Mother is deceased and CNIC Number or CNIC Expiry Date is not available, then how to proceed further?

The student can add details fo father/brother/sister CNIC details

If any mistake occurred during filling Online Application Form and also submitted, then how to Edit the Correct Information? E.g. Error in DOB, Age, Spell Mistake, Income Amount, Expenditure info etc.

Please take print of your online submitted application form and make changes in printed form with signature of applicant at the place of changes. Proof of changes is also required to be submitted to FAO of your university. Further changes will be made by FAO staff in Evaluation Sheet and that change will be considered final.

If student enrolled in private sector universities, do they eligible to apply in Benazir Scholarship?

Student enrolled in Private Universities / Institutions / Affiliated Campuses are not eligible to apply in Benazir Scholarship.

If Father is retired / jobless / Laborer / etc, which document will be attached as supporting document for Family Income / Salary information etc?

If Father is retired, please attach copy of pension book/Latest Bank Statement.
If father is Laborer on daily wage / shopkeeper / private job, then attach undertaking of Income Certificate on minimum amount of stamp paper. In case of Shopkeeper, please attach 02 Shop Pictures with Income Certificate.
If father is jobless or deceased and paternal or maternal uncle / khala / family friends etc are supporting applicant family, then mention that partial amount in Rupee in family income field which is receiving by applicant family from their family friends, but do not mention their Uncle / Guardian / Family Friends FULL INCOME / SALARY in application form.
If applicant father job is outside Pakistan, than Income Certificate should be in currency of that specific country.

I am student of Govt College / Affiliated College, am I eligible to apply in undergraduate Scholarship?

Students of Affiliated Colleges / Campuses (public/private) are NOT ELIGIBLE

I am enrolled in Evening Degree Program/distant learning self-finance/self-sustain program, am I eligible to apply in undergraduate Scholarship?

No , you are not eligible

What is Online Application Submission Process and How to apply?

Step 1: All Eligible Applicants / Students may apply through Online Application Form: http://ehsaas.hec.gov.pk. Step 2: Completed Forms (Hard Copy) along with necessary Supporting Documents) may be submitted to Financial Aid Office of the respective university for further scrutiny process.

I have filled Online Application Form, May I submit hard copy of Application Form to HEC / BISP?

Please Do Not send hard copy of Application Form directly to HEC or BISP

Is awarded scholarship is transferable to other university ?

The awarded scholarship is non transferable to any other university, academic degree program and session.

I am student of 03 Years Bachelor Degree / 02 Years Master Degree Program enrolled in Public Sector University, am I eligible to apply for Undergraduate Scholarship?

Two-year post-higher secondary or equivalent programs , two years associate degree programs, Masters and the nomenclature of BA/BSc programs are excluded
