1. HEC reserves the right to change or modify the nomination criteria. All admissions, scholarship awards, selection decisions and financial responsibilities remain the sole responsibility of the relevant authorities of the Kingdom of Morocco. HEC shall bear no financial liability in connection with this program.
- Applicants must possess a Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent obtained in 2025 or 2026 with at least a “Fairly Good," “Good," or “Very Good" academic standing, age limit for bachelors program is between 19 to 23 years.
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field with at least a “Good" academic record for Master's program.
- Applicants must hold a Master's degree or an equivalent qualification that grants access to doctoral studies in the chosen field.
- Applicant's of both cycle (Masters and Doctoral) must specify the course and institution requested. To this end, they are invited to consult the website of the Department of Higher Education: www.enssup.gov.ma as well as those of Moroccan universities.
- Applicants must fulfil other requirements set by the concerned university in Morocco.
- Be a Pakistani/AJK national & permanent resident of Pakistan/AJK. Dual nationality holders are not eligible.
- All applicants are required to provide the valid HAT or USAT test score. Those applicants who do not have the valid HAT/USAT test score. Nomination criteria is based on USAT test score for Bachelors, and HAT test score for Masters/PhD programs.
- Eligible test results for Morocco Scholarship: Applicants who already have a valid USAT and HAT test score (test taken on or after 11 June 2025 till 10 June 2026) will be considered for the nomination process.
- The upcoming test scheduled for 5 July 2026 is NOT APPLICABLE for this scholarship.
Language Requirements
French is the primary language of instruction in most Moroccan higher education institutions, particularly in scientific, technical, and economic disciplines. Students who do not possess adequate French language proficiency may be required to undertake preparatory language courses upon arrival in Morocco. Certain programmes, such as Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, are taught in Arabic.
