Who is eligible to apply for Library Support Grant?

All Public Sector Universities/Higher Education Institutions and eligible Private Sector Universities/HEI's are eligible to seek funding on compliance of the following conditions:

University/HEI must have well-established Libraries network
University/HEI must have well-established MPhil/PhD programs

What kind of expenses can be made under this grant?

Universities will be able to fund the following expenses for Libraries under the grant:

Purchase of books (Print/ Electronic)
Subscription of research journals/ publications (Print/ Electronic)

Is the application for Library Support Grant required to be submitted directly to HEC?

No, the head of the library will apply to their respective University/HEI on prescribed form available under "Downloads" section of website, along with requisite documents, to avail this grant.

Does this grant support 100% reimbursement of the expenses incurred in purchasing of books/journals?

This grant will support reimbursement of up to 75% of the expenses incurred for purchase of library resources
