PhD Supervisors Capacity Building Program
  • Another big achievement was the launch of the PhD Supervisors Capacity Building Program, a flagship initiative under the Pak-UK Education Gateway Project in collaboration with Coventry University, UK.
  • In this regard, 128 PhD supervisors / Master Trainers were successfully trained across three batches.
  • This comprehensive program aimed to refine supervisory skills, strengthen research management practices, and promote effective communication strategies for academic leaders in Pakistan.
  • Advanced training was held at Coventry University UK, where 18 out of the 128 participants were provided advanced training. Ultimately, they were certified by the Executive Director in the UK.
     Pak UK Education Gateway Phase II:

    Following activities are proposed to be part of the Pak-UK Education Gateway Phase II and further details will be made available once these activities are rolled out.

    • Executive Class for University Leadership – Vice Chancellors and Pro-Vice Chancellors (Preferably first time VCs and few seasoned) on Harvard Model
    • Continuity of Faculty training for STEM faculty, University Administration
    • Training for Faculty in CS & AI, as well as Public Policy & Administration Disciplines
    • Advance HE Fellowships with increased numbers
    • International Accreditation of NAHE Programs
