A training activity for 100 STEM faculty members was revived in September 2024.
Conducted in collaboration with the British Council and a consortium led by King's College London at the UK's STEM Learning Centre.
100 participants from public sector HEIs across Pakistan were trained in the UK in three cohorts (July–August 2025).
Training modules covered:
- Global STEM education and challenges
- Project-based and work-integrated learning (WIL)
- Industry collaboration in STEM
Microteaching and authentic assessment design
Discussions included communities of practice, AI and IoT in STEM, STEM ambassadors, and gender equity and inclusion.
Participants undertook exposure visits to the STEM Learning Center at the University of York, the University of Birmingham, King's College London, and cultural sites in London.
Participants are cascading their learning to strengthen STEM education systems in their respective universities. Till now, 1500+ people have got their trainings through cascading.
