One Month Certification Program for Academic Leaders & University Management on Governance & Leadership delivered by Edinburgh Napier University UK (Tier III of Management)
A one-month program (3 weeks online + 1 week face-to-face) engaged 59 participants from 47 universities, ensuring regional representation. The program targeted Deans, Registrars, Controllers of Examinations, and Treasurers of public sector universities.
Participants studied UK academic planning models, guided by senior UK HEI leaders on governance, strategy, and academic design.
- Strategic Planning: Translating visions into actionable frameworks.
- Leadership: Building teamwork, engagement, and change management skills.
- Governance: Strengthening accountability, QA, and accreditation systems.
- Digital Transformation: Promoting data-driven and tech-enabled governance.
- Financial Management: Enhancing budgeting and income diversification.
Participants are cascading their learning within their universities to strengthen institutional systems and practices. Till now, 400 people got their training through cascading.
