​Alumni associations offer networking opportunities, which can connect recent graduates with established professionals and help people pursue career changes. Networking can take many forms. Alumni associations might offer online career fairs or host virtual networking events with tips for job interviews etc. Alumni can build business connections, organize reunions, and serve as shining examples of the kind of people that their institution produces. It’s very useful for those who are genuinely interested in experience of previous scholarship beneficiaries and like to see what they’re up to.

HEC 'Alumni Engagement Program' that include the activities as follows but not limited to:

     1.  Networking Opportunities 

Alumni database offer networking opportunities, which can connect recent graduates with established professionals and help people pursue career changes. Networking can take many forms. Alumni associations might offer online career fairs or host virtual networking events with tips for job interviews. Many alumni networks also maintain LinkedIn groups or connect alumni through member databases.

     2.  Alumni Events​

Alumni associations often host social events. they can create their own clubs and host events among various groups. These events help alumni build a community and stay connected with friends from universities/countries from where they graduated. Alumni events are also a great networking tool.

  1. Conferences, Workshops and Seminars on desired fields, as per direction of government.
  2. Need Analysis of future demand/ Priority areas
  3. Impact of initiatives at individual, organizational and societal level
  4. Special Travel grant opportunities that have larger impact on organizational level & impact on economy
  5. Reunions & get togethers​

     3.  Carrier Services​

Alumni offer career support for recent graduated and longtime alumni. Career services can help​ professionals choose a career path, transition into a new field, and explore ​career opportunities. Alumni may provide career coaching and hosts professional development events to help alumni advance their careers.

      1. Trainings, Career Counselling trainings, Experience Sharing forums
      2. Alumni Networks Subject wise and Focused group discussions.
      3. Job fairs and jobs opportunities available at portal, Liaison of job between Alumni and job market

     4.  Feedback​
The expe​rienced alumni are in a better position to provide orientation to new scholarship holders specially scholars who intend to proceed abroad at various level of studies and countries of the world. Alumni can give back to their communities and help current and future scholars in several ways as follows:
    1. they may give exposure to terms and conditions of the scholarship, secondly culture and living specially at countries abroad, university environment, degree requirement etc. 
    2. Alumni can also give back by participating in the HEC scholar's admission process.
    3. Predeparture orientation to new awardees country wise by involving HEC Alumni.

    5.   Media & Outreach/ Publicity

    1. Record of Alumni in the shape of video documentary, picture reports, books etc. and maximum emphasis should be on success stories at this stage.
    2. Media Outreach/ image building activities
    3. HEC may keep an active Media officer who regularly scan the social media and provide feedback including news and articles in Print & E media.

    6.  Opportunities at HEC

As a registered HEC alum, they will be exposed to opportunities including but not limited to:

      1. Scholarships & Grants
      2. Networking events
      3. Fellowship Programs
      4. Panel Discussions
      5. Mentoring Sessions
      6. HEC may devise a approved policy from relevant forum that in future, at least 40% experts/ panelists/reviewers may be selected from database of HRD Alumni.
      7. Sharing of experience at EDU TV of HEC
      8. Documentation of success/achievement at appropriate forum
      9. Paid member ship form may be incorporated in future.
      10. After launching Alumni portal, HRC may work on mobile application for Alumni portal as well to facilitate the stakeholders.
