        • Short term Trainings (03-06 Months) of 1,000 Agricultural Graduates Under China G2G Cooperation
Introduction

​​The Prime Minister of Pakistan visited agricultural universities and research institutes for developing closer cooperation between the two countries in the areas of agricultural research, education, and trade. He proposed to send 1,000 agricultural professionals to China to enhance their skills to promote innovation, increase productivity, and support sustainable growth in Pakistan's agriculture sector. In pursuance of Prime Minister's directive, the Ministry of National Food Security and Research (MNFSR) invites applications from young professionals working in the public and private sectors to participate in this training program which will be implemented in phases.

The training is planned for agricultural graduates, academicians and researchers who have at least two years of relevant professional experience for knowledge transfer and capacity development. It has been planned to send 1,000 agricultural researchers in three batches. The first batch comprises of 300 trainees (with 10% additional quota for Baluchistan) to Shanxi. First Batch (Preference will be given to those who have some basic understanding of Chinese Language) and subsequent batches will be prioritized based on having knowledge of Chinese Language.
