Shortlisted/nominated candidates will later provide attested, translated (if applicable/as instructed by HEC) documents as per the following checklist:
- Notarized educational documents, CNIC, domicile, birth certificate and equivalence certificates (IBCC/HEC if applicable).
- Study Plan or Research Proposal in English or Chinese:
- Undergraduate: Minimum 200 words
- Masters: Minimum 800 words
- PhD: Minimum 800 words
- Language proficiency proof (IELTS/TOEFL/HSK where applicable).
- Copy of valid passport (valid till March 01, 2027).
- Foreigner Physical Examination Form (including blood test results, valid for 6 months).
- Police Clearance Certificate (issued within 6 months before deadline).
- Pre-admission letter from Chinese university (optional but preferred for Masters/PhD).
- Two letters of recommendation (Masters/PhD only).
- NOC from employer (if employed).
- Legal guardian documents (if under 18).
Important Instructions
- Ensure that your email, phone and postal address are accurate.
- Upload clear, authentic and valid scans of all documents.
- Submission of false information will lead to disqualification and permanent debarment.
- Apply well before the deadline to avoid technical delays.
- Deadline for HEC scholarship portal: Monday, 05 January 2025 (04:00 PM PST).
- Both applications on HEC and CSC portals are mandatory.
