To promote educational cooperation between China and Pakistan, the Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC), Government of China, offers a total of 75 scholarship seats (35 Bachelors, 25 Masters and 15 PHD) for Pakistani students to pursue higher education in Chinese universities.
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) is the nominating agency for the selection of eligible applicants.
HEC SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL DEADLINE: MONDAY, 05 JANUARY 2026 (04:00 PM PAKISTAN STANDARD TIME)
NOTE: HEC is responsible only for the nomination and selection of applicants under Type-A (HEC–Chinese Government Scholarship) through its defined process. Applicants applying directly under Type-B or any other Chinese Government Scholarship program are solely responsible for their own applications and correspondence.
- Please note that the China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA) (www.csca.cn) is mandatory for all applicants seeking admission in undergraduate programs in China. This requirement applies to all applicants, including those applying through Type-A (HEC nominations) as well as to those applying directly under Type-B or any other Chinese Government Scholarship program.
