The project has yearly financial and physical targets and at the end of every fiscal year-end, in June, a third-party validation called TPV exercise is conducted by the project. However, on a need basis, additional rounds of TPV are also conducted on biannual and even quarterly basis.
All the project deliverables are checked and validated and to the satisfaction of the TPV firm, financial disbursements are made to the Government of Pakistan to achieve the HEDP project goals.
Since its inception in 2019, the project has successfully completed its 8 TPV exercises and stands at good financial and physical progress of 90%. So far till June 2024, more than USD 290 Million has been disbursed to the government of Pakistan for this project and the remaining funds will be disbursed in the remaining period of project life.
