How to Apply

​​Overseas Scholarship for MS/M.Phil and Ph.D Studies under Project titled Overseas Scholarship for MS/M.Phil Leading to Ph.D in Selected Fields (Phase-III)

SPRING/FALL 2026-27
Applications are invited from outstanding Pakistani/AJK nationals for the award of PhD and MS/M. Phil scholarships. Ph.D. scholarships are offered in selected fields whereas MS/M. Phil scholarships are offered in specified thematic areas.  Scholarships will be awarded for Spring/Fall-2026 Session in HEC-identified top-ranked (Top 200 QS Ranking) foreign universities of advanced countries (​​​​​​​​Tuition Fee and Stipend Details).    

The scholarship aims to develop highly qualified human resources by providing opportunities to study at the Top 200 QS/THE Ranked Universities across the world in strategically important disciplines that contribute to Pakistan's socio-economic development.

How to Apply

Applicants should:

  1. Create/Login to HEC e-Services Scholarshiop Portal (Overseas Scholarship For MS / PhD Studies Batch-4​).
  2. Complete the online application.
  3. The application processing fee i.e. Rs. 3,000/ shall be deposited through 1LINK payment services Submit the application before the deadline.
  4. No hard copy is required at the application stage.

Important Instructions

  • Apply only online.
  • Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
  • No printed application should be sent initially.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit supporting documents.
  • HEC reserves the right to amend the schedule or postpone/cancel the test. 
Application Procedure:
  1. Appl​icants are required to submit an online application via HEC eservices scholarship portal​ (Overseas Scholarship For MS / PhD Studies Batch-4​).
  2. Fee will be submitted by 1-Link.
NO NEED TO SEND/UBMIT HARDCOPIES OF THE APPLICATION FORM AND EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTS AFTER SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION FORM
Applicants are advised to check all details of this scholarship scheme before filing/submitting online application form. Requests for amendment will not be entertained after submission of online application.
