​​Length of PhD Degree

• Scholarship is provided for a maximum period of 4 years including 3 years of local and 6-12 months Foreign.
  

Monitoring Of Scholar Progress

• Agreement states that the University/DAIs and Supervisor of the scholar will be responsible for setting the overall direction of the PhD program. This includes reviewing the progress of the PhD candidates. In case of any deviation, the supervisor is equally responsible.
• Progress review will be conducted on an annual basis and will be supplemented by six-monthly reports to HEC by respective supervisors summarizing the progress of their PhD students.
• An annual progress report will be required either in Pakistan or partner University abroad duly signed by the supervisor of the respective Universities. The student and supervisor are responsible to submit the progress report regularly.​
